About Us
Who We Are
UPGC is
a Community
We are a rural community church that seeks to be a faithful witness of Jesus Christ to the people around us. Our goal is to glorify God and make disciples of Jesus Christ. We do that by proclaiming the truth of God’s Word in our preaching and teaching, and loving our neighbors however we can. We aren’t perfect, but the One we follow and trust is.

Jason Kelsey
Pastor
Pastor Jason (PJ) and his family have been recently sent to UPGC by Village Missions. He and his wife Melissa have three daughters (14, 12, 8). They love the north country and have a heart for the rural church and share a deep desire to see rural churches grow in Christlike maturity in order to be witnesses to their communities and to the ends of the earth. They enjoy exploring new areas and visiting with people over coffee and tea to discuss theology and sports. PJ loves it when people ask questions, and isn’t afraid of the hard ones.
